Parque 3 de Febrero, often called Bosques de Palermo (Palermo Woods), is a sprawling urban park spanning approximately 400 hectares in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires. This green oasis offers a welcome escape from the city's hustle and bustle, providing a space for relaxation, recreation, and connection with nature. The park's history dates back to 1875, named in honor of the date of the Battle of Caseros. Designed by urbanist Jordán Czeslaw Wysocki and architect Julio Dormal, it was later expanded and beautified by French Argentine urbanist Carlos Thays, who also designed the Botanical Gardens and the Rose Garden (El Rosedal). Today, Parque 3 de Febrero is home to a variety of attractions, including the exquisite Rosedal with over 18,000 rose bushes, the Galileo Galilei planetarium, the Eduardo Sívori Museum, and three artificial lakes where visitors can enjoy boat rides.
