If you are already in the San Telmo neighborhood or nearby areas like Puerto Madero or the city center, walking to the Feria de Antigüedades San Telmo is a great option. The fair stretches along Calle Defensa, starting near Plaza de Mayo and extending south through San Telmo. Simply head towards Calle Defensa and follow the crowds. The street is easily walkable and filled with interesting sights along the way. No costs involved.

Public Transport
Several bus lines (colectivos) serve the San Telmo area. Check a local transit app or ask for directions to the nearest bus stop that goes to Plaza de Mayo or anywhere along Calle Defensa. Alternatively, you can take the subway (Subte) Line D to Catedral station, which is near the northern end of the fair at Plaza de Mayo. As of June 2025, the SUBE card is required for bus and subway travel. The average price per ride is AR$757. You can pay for subway rides with your credit card. Buses aren't included just yet.

Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber are readily available in Buenos Aires. Simply request a ride to Defensa 526, Buenos Aires, which is in the heart of the fair. Be aware that traffic can be heavy on Sundays, especially closer to the fair. A short taxi ride within the city center will likely cost between ARS 5,500 and ARS 11,000. Always ensure the driver uses the meter or agree on a fare beforehand.
