Public Transport
From the center of San Carlos de Bariloche, go to the main bus station at Av. 12 de Octubre 700. Take bus number 10 or 20 along Av. Exequiel Bustillo. The ride is approximately 30 minutes. Inform the driver you're visiting Cerro Viejo to be dropped off at the nearest stop, then walk about 200 meters along Av. Exequiel Bustillo towards the lake to reach the entrance. A bus ticket costs around ARS 50-100.
Taxi/Ride-Sharing
Take a taxi or ride-sharing service from Bariloche's city center to Cerro Viejo, located at Av. Exequiel Bustillo 800. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Confirm the destination with the driver before starting your ride. The estimated cost ranges from ARS 800 to 1500.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, start from Plaza San Martín in the city center. Head towards Av. 12 de Octubre and follow it until you reach Av. Exequiel Bustillo. Turn right onto Av. Exequiel Bustillo and continue for about 3.5 km along the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi. Look for signs pointing to Cerro Viejo. The walk takes approximately 1 hour. There are no costs involved.
