Car
If you are driving, start from the town of Coyhaique, which is approximately 220 km from the Marble Caves. Take Route 7 (Carretera Austral) south for about 70 km until you reach the town of Puerto Ingeniero Ibáñez. From there, continue on Route 7, passing through beautiful landscapes, until you reach Chile Chico, which is about 150 km further. In Chile Chico, follow signs to the Marble Caves, located on Lake General Carrera. You will need to park your car and arrange for a boat tour to access the caves, as they are located on an island.
Public Transportation
To reach Marble Caves via public transportation, take a bus from Coyhaique to Chile Chico. Several bus companies operate this route, and the journey takes approximately 5-6 hours.
