Getting There

    If you are driving from Cerro Tronador, head northeast on Route 40 until you reach the junction with Route 23. Take Route 23 and continue for approximately 30 km until you reach San Carlos de Bariloche. Once in Bariloche, follow signs for Avenida Exequiel Bustillo. Continue along this road (which hugs the shore of Lake Nahuel Huapi) for about 25 km until you reach Cto. Chico km 25. Look for the entrance to Sendero de los Arrayanes on your right. There are parking facilities available at the trailhead.

    To reach Sendero de los Arrayanes via public transport, start by taking a bus from the center of San Carlos de Bariloche to the Llao Llao area. Look for the bus lines that go towards 'Llao Llao' or 'Cto. Chico.' The journey will take about 40 minutes. Disembark at the stop closest to Cto. Chico km 25. From there, you will need to walk approximately 500 meters to reach the entrance of Sendero de los Arrayanes.
