Getting There

  • Bus

    From the city center of San Carlos de Bariloche, walk to the main bus terminal (Terminal de Ómnibus). At the terminal, look for a bus heading to Llao Llao. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Llao Llao stop, get off and head towards the direction of the Llao Llao Hotel. You will find signs directing you to Mirador Lago Moreno. It’s a short 15-20 minute walk uphill to the viewpoint.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk from the city center, head towards Av. Exequiel Bustillo, following the lakeshore. This scenic route is approximately 25 kilometers and will take around 5-6 hours. As you walk, enjoy views of Lake Nahuel Huapi and the surrounding mountains. Make sure to take breaks and hydrate, and remember to wear comfortable shoes, as some parts of the path are uneven.

  • Bicycle

    For an adventurous option, rent a bicycle in the city and ride along Av. Exequiel Bustillo. Follow the path towards Llao Llao, which is about 25 kilometers from the city center.
