Boat Tour
The most common way to access Grey Glacier is via a boat tour on Lago Grey. Tours typically depart from Hotel Lago Grey. From Puerto Natales, take a bus to Torres del Paine National Park (approx. 14,000-25,000 CLP). From the park entrance, it's approximately a 1.5-hour drive to Hotel Lago Grey. Check in at the hotel an hour before departure, then walk 30-45 minutes along the beach to the boat. The boat tour itself lasts around 3 hours, bringing you close to the glacier's face. Cost: * Park entrance fee: approx. 32,400 CLP (non-resident adult). * Bus from Puerto Natales: 14,000-25,000 CLP. * Grey Glacier Navigation: 85,000-110,000 CLP.

Hiking
Grey Glacier can also be reached by hiking the W Trek or O Circuit in Torres del Paine National Park. The western leg of the W Trek takes you along the eastern shore of Lago Grey, offering stunning views of the glacier. From Refugio Paine Grande, hike towards Refugio Grey (approx. 3.5-4 hours). The trail is well-marked but can be challenging in some sections.
