The guide will provide all the necessary equipment and information to ensure you have an unforgettable kayaking experience! The Grey Glacier Kayak tour begins at Grey Base Camp, located in the Playa Grey sector within Torres del Paine National Park. Your kayaking adventure kicks off with a guided navigation across the pristine waters of Grey Lake. The lead guide will set the route, and the group will follow through a scenic bay filled with floating icebergs—massive blocks of ice that have calved from the glacier. We’ll paddle toward the east face of Grey Glacier, keeping a safe distance from its towering ice walls. A support guide accompanies the group throughout the journey, ensuring everyone stays together, adjusts to the group's pace, and even helps capture memorable photos along the way. On the way back, we’ll pass a breathtaking melting waterfall cascading from a nearby glacier—one last visual gem before wrapping up the tour. We then return to the beach in front of Grey Base Camp. Once there, you’ll return your equipment and enjoy some well-deserved snacks and hot drinks.

The meeting point is located within the Torres del Paine National Park, just 10 minutes from the Grey campsite and refuge. To participate in the first shift, it is necessary to stay overnight in the Grey sector, while for the last shift, an overnight stay in the Grey sector is required after the activity. The tour includes all the necessary equipment, such as neoprene wetsuits and boots, double kayaks, life jackets, waterproof jackets, paddles with built-in gloves, protective skirts for the kayaks, and helmets. Additionally, a snack and hot drink will be provided to keep you energized throughout the tour.
