If you're driving to Salto del Medio, start from the main entrance of Iguazu National Park. Follow the main road until you reach the intersection near the Visitor Center. Continue straight on the main road, passing the locations for the viewpoints and the train station. After about 15 minutes of driving, you will see signs for Salto del Medio. Turn right on the marked road and continue for about 5 minutes until you reach the parking area. Make sure to pay the parking fee, which is typically around 500 ARS.

To reach Salto del Medio using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Puerto Iguazú to the Iguazu National Park entrance. Buses run regularly, and the fare is about 300 ARS. Once you arrive at the park entrance, purchase your entrance ticket (approximately 3200 ARS for adults) and head to the Visitor Center. From there, take the park's internal train to the 'Cataratas' station. After exiting the train, follow the walking trail signs towards Salto del Medio, which will take around 30 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path includes some uneven terrain.
