    The easiest way to reach Glaciarium is by taking the free shuttle service that departs hourly from the Tourism Bureau of the Province of Santa Cruz, located at 1 de Mayo, between Av Libertador and Roca in El Calafate. The shuttle operates every hour. Check locally for the most up-to-date schedule. This service is included with the Glaciarium ticket.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are readily available in El Calafate. A taxi ride from the town center to Glaciarium, located approximately 6 km away on Route 11 (the road to Perito Moreno Glacier), will take around 15 minutes. Expect to pay approximately $3.5 USD, plus a starting fee of $1.0 USD.

  • Driving

    If driving from El Calafate, take Route 11 towards Perito Moreno Glacier. Glaciarium is located 6 km outside of the town center. Parking is available at the museum. Note that fuel availability in El Calafate can be limited, so check before departing.
