If you are traveling by car, start from the town of San Carlos de Bariloche. Head west on Av. Exequiel Bustillo (Route 82) along the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi. Continue for about 25 kilometers until you reach the town of Llao Llao. From Llao Llao, take the turn-off to Route 83 towards Villa La Angostura. After approximately 10 kilometers, look for the signs for Bahía López. Turn left onto the road leading to Bahía López, where you will find a parking area. The bay is a short walk from the parking area. Please ensure you have a valid national park entrance fee, which costs around ARS 500 per person.

Public Transportation
To reach Bahía López using public transportation, take a bus from the Bariloche city center to the Llao Llao area. The bus company 'Las Grutas' offers services that run frequently. Once you arrive at the Llao Llao stop, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach the entrance to the Bahía López area. From there, follow the marked trails leading to the bay. Ensure you check the bus schedules as they may vary, and have some cash ready for the bus fare, which is typically around ARS 150.
