Continue on Route 40 for about 40 km until you reach the junction for Route 83. Take Route 83 towards Lago Moreno. After approximately 15 km, you will see signs for Brazo Tristeza. Follow the signs and park at the designated parking area near the trailhead.

    From San Carlos de Bariloche, take a bus from the main bus terminal (Terminal de Ómnibus). Look for buses heading towards Llao Llao or Puerto Pañuelo. The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Request to be dropped off at the intersection of Route 83 and the trail entrance for Brazo Tristeza. From there, it is a short walk to the trailhead.
