After approximately 3 km, you will see signs for Cerro El Porito on your left. Turn left and follow the dirt road for another 1 km until you reach the parking area near the base of the hill. There is no entrance fee, and the scenic views are free to enjoy.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Cerro El Porito using public transportation, you can take a local bus or shared taxi (remis) from the main square (Plaza 9 de Julio) in Purmamarca. Look for buses or taxis heading towards Salinas Grandes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Cerro El Porito. The fare is approximately 50-100 ARS. Once you arrive, you will need to walk about 1 km to the base of the hill. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the appropriate spot, as they may not be familiar with the exact location.
