From the center of Cachi, the Ovnipuerto is located a few kilometers towards Cachi Adentro. Head in that direction, passing through the hamlet of Fuerte Alto. On the far side of Fuerte Alto, look for a turn-off towards Cabaña el Fuerte. Continue straight on this road to the end. There may not be clear signs, so asking locals about 'las estrellas del suizo' (the Swiss guy's stars) can help. The walk is manageable, but the altitude may make it strenuous. No costs are associated with walking.
