From Cafayate's town center, head south on Avenida 20 de Febrero. Continue for approximately 2.5 kilometers until you reach Ruta Provincial 68. Follow Ruta 68 south for about 6 kilometers. Look for a small sign on the right indicating 'Los Médanos'. Turn onto the small sandy road and drive until you reach the designated parking area. Be aware the road can be rough. Parking is free. There are no tolls on this route.

From Cafayate's bus terminal, take a local bus or shuttle heading towards San Carlos or any service mentioning 'Los Médanos'. These buses typically operate daily.
