Cristo Bendicente, or the Blessing Christ, is a monumental sculpture of Jesus Christ located on the summit of Cerro San Javier in Yerba Buena, Tucumán Province. This iconic statue, standing 28 meters (92 feet) tall, has become a beloved symbol of the region since its inauguration in 1942. Created by local sculptor Juan Carlos Iramain, Cristo Bendicente extends his right arm in a gesture of blessing, offering a sense of peace and welcome to all who visit.
