Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, you can reach Patagonia Profunda from El Calafate by taking Route 11 south towards Ushuaia. The drive is approximately 220 kilometers and takes about 3 hours. Follow the signs to El Chaltén and continue on Route 40 until you reach the junction for Route 11. Make sure to refuel in El Calafate, as there are limited fuel stations on the way. Keep an eye out for wildlife along the road, especially in the early morning and late afternoon.
