Getting There

• Walking

  If you're already in the center of Tilcara, you can easily walk to Iglesia Nuestra Señora del Rosario. Start at Plaza Central, located in the heart of Tilcara. From the plaza, head southeast on Avenida de los Incas for about 500 meters. Continue straight until you reach Alverro Street. Turn left on Alverro, and you will see the church on your right after a short walk.

• Car

  For those traveling by car, you can use a GPS navigation system. Input the coordinates -23.5770712, -65.3918655 or the address Alverro, Y4624 Tilcara, Jujuy. From the main road (Ruta Nacional 9), take the exit towards Tilcara and follow the signs to the town center. Once you enter Tilcara, continue straight until you reach Avenida de los Incas. Turn left onto Avenida de los Incas and then take a right onto Alverro Street. The church will be on your right. There is usually free street parking available nearby.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, take a local bus that travels to Tilcara. Once you arrive at the main bus terminal in Tilcara, you can either walk to the church as described earlier or take a taxi for a short ride. The taxi fare is generally around 100-200 Argentine Pesos, depending on your starting point within Tilcara. If you choose to walk, exit the bus terminal and head towards Avenida de los Incas, then follow the same walking directions to the church.
