    Refugio Chileno is only accessible by foot. From the Welcome Center near Refugio Torre Central, the hike to Refugio Chileno takes approximately 2-2.5 hours. The trail gradually ascends through the Ascencio Valley. Alternatively, hikers coming from the Los Cuernos sector can reach Refugio Chileno by continuing along the trail, which takes approximately 4-5 hours. Note that there is an entrance fee to Torres del Paine National Park. As of 2025, the fee for foreigners is approximately $49 USD for more than three days in the park. Tickets must be booked in advance online.
