The ferry typically costs around $30 USD. From Refugio Paine Grande, the hike to Mirador Valle del Francés is approximately 18.5 km (11.5 miles) round trip and takes 7-8 hours. The trail is well-marked but can be challenging in places. Be sure to check the catamaran schedule to ensure you can make the last ferry back to Pudeto.

  • In-Park Shuttle & Hiking

    If you are already within Torres del Paine National Park, you can take the in-park shuttle to Pudeto. Note that the only in-park shuttle runs between Laguna Amarga and Torres Central/Welcome Center. From Pudeto, follow the 'Ferry & Hiking' guidance. Shuttle tickets can be purchased on-site (cash only) or in advance. Check the current schedule, as it aligns with the arrival and departure times of buses to and from Puerto Natales.
