Getting There

Car
To reach Lago Skottsberg by car, start from Punta Arenas, the capital of the Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica Region. Take Route 9 heading south toward Puerto Natales. After approximately 250 kilometers (about 3 hours), turn onto Route 9-CH toward Torres del Paine National Park. Continue driving for about 70 kilometers until you reach the park entrance. Once inside the park, follow the signs to Lago Skottsberg, which is approximately 30 kilometers from the entrance. There may be a park entrance fee of around CLP 15,000 per person.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Punta Arenas to Puerto Natales, which runs frequently and takes roughly 3 hours. Once in Puerto Natales, you can catch a shuttle or bus to Torres del Paine National Park. The journey from Puerto Natales to the park takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.
