    Refugio Chileno is only accessible on foot. From the Welcome Center/Refugio Torre Central area, the hike is approximately 2-2.5 hours. The trail involves an initial ascent, crossing bridges and streams, with views of Lago Nordenskjöld. After passing 'Windy Pass' , you'll arrive at Refugio Chileno. No fees are required for the trail itself, but you must have a valid park entrance ticket.

    To reach the Welcome Center/Refugio Torre Central area (the starting point for hiking to Refugio Chileno) via public transport: 1. Take a bus from Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine National Park. Bus-Sur is a primary operator. The journey takes 2-4 hours. A one-way ticket costs approximately $10,000 CLP to $15,000 CLP. 2. Get off the bus at the Laguna Amarga entrance. Park entrance fee for foreigners is CLP $31,200 for a 3-day pass. 3. From Laguna Amarga, take the shuttle bus to Torres Central & Norte/Welcome Center. Tickets can be purchased online or on-site. Consider booking your bus and shuttle tickets in advance, especially during high season.
