Look for the signs indicating Lago Correntoso. You will eventually reach a fork in the road; take the left fork which leads directly to the lake. Follow the road until you see parking areas near the lake. Note that parking may incur a fee, usually around ARS 200.

In Villa La Angostura, locate the local bus station. Take bus number 20, which services the route to Lago Correntoso. The journey typically takes about 30 minutes. Confirm with the bus driver that you are heading to Lago Correntoso when you board. There is a small fare for the bus, usually around ARS 100. After alighting at the designated stop, follow the path that leads directly to the lake.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can also walk to Lago Correntoso from Villa La Angostura. Start at the Plaza de los Pioneros and head towards Avenida Arrayanes. Follow Avenida Arrayanes until you reach Ruta 40, then take a left. It's about a 7-kilometer walk, so ensure you're prepared with proper footwear and water. The path offers beautiful scenery along the way, but it may take around 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the lake.
