    From Page, Arizona, head south on Highway 89A for approximately 30 miles. Look for the Lees Ferry Road turnoff, about 1.5 miles north of the Navajo Bridge in Marble Canyon. Turn right onto Lees Ferry Road and drive about 1.4 miles. The Cathedral Wash Trailhead will be on your left, with a small, unpaved parking area. A Glen Canyon National Recreation Area pass is required; a weekly pass costs $30 per vehicle, payable at the automated machine on Lees Ferry Road. Alternatively, an Interagency/National Parks pass is accepted.

  • Walking

    From the Cathedral Wash Trailhead parking area, walk a short distance to the north side of the road. Descend into the wash and pass through the tunnel under Lees Ferry Road to begin the hike. Follow the wash as it winds towards the Colorado River. Be prepared for some scrambling and downclimbing as you navigate the canyon. There are no additional fees required beyond the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area entrance fee.
