Public Transit
From downtown Chandler, head to the nearest Valley Metro bus stop. Take Bus Route 156 towards Phoenix. Ride the bus until you reach the intersection of McDonald Dr and 44th St. From there, transfer to Bus Route 50 towards Paradise Valley. Get off at the stop nearest to the intersection of McDonald Dr and 48th St. Walk east on McDonald Dr for about 0.2 miles, and you will find Echo Canyon Recreation Area on your left.
Bicycle
If you have a bicycle, start at the Chandler Downtown area and head north on Arizona Ave. Continue until you reach the intersection with McDonald Dr. Turn right onto McDonald Dr and continue for about 8 miles until you reach Echo Canyon Recreation Area. Be cautious as you bike along busy roads, and look for bike lanes where available.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the Chandler Center for the Arts located at 250 N Arizona Ave. Head north on Arizona Ave to W Ray Rd, then turn left. Walk west on Ray Rd until you reach S 48th St. Turn right and walk north until you reach E McDonald Dr. Turn left onto McDonald Dr and continue walking for approximately 1.5 miles. Echo Canyon Recreation Area will be on your right.
