Walking
The Herberger Theater Center is located in downtown Phoenix, easily accessible on foot from many nearby hotels, restaurants, and attractions. From the Phoenix Convention Center, walk north on 2nd Street for two blocks. The theater will be on your left, between Monroe and Van Buren Streets. Walking time is approximately 5-10 minutes. Be aware of street closures due to construction.
Public Transport
The Valley Metro Light Rail is a convenient way to reach the Herberger Theater Center. Exit the Light Rail at the Van Buren/1st Avenue stop. Walk east on Van Buren Street, then turn right onto 2nd Street. The theater will be on your left. The walk is approximately 6 minutes. A single ride on the light rail costs $2.00.
Ride Sharing
Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft offer a convenient way to get to the Herberger Theater Center. The ideal drop-off location is on the south side of the theater on Monroe Street, in the passenger loading area directly in front of the theater. A short ride from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport to the Herberger Theater Center typically costs between $15 and $25, depending on traffic and demand.
Parking
The Herberger Theater Center does not offer on-site parking. However, there are several nearby parking garages. The Chase Tower Parking Garage (160 E. Monroe St.) is the closest. The Arizona Center Parking Garage (401 E. Fillmore St.) offers discounted parking with a pass purchased from the Herberger Theater Center's Box Office for $6, valid Monday-Friday from 5pm – 4am and all day on Saturday and Sunday. Street meter parking is also available, costing $1.50 per hour; meters are enforced from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm daily, including weekends and holidays.
