Getting There

• Car

  From Havasu Falls, head back to the nearest major road, which is AZ-64. Follow the signs to Grand Canyon Village. Once you reach Grand Canyon Village, look for Hermit Road. This road is accessible only by shuttle during peak season, so ensure to check the shuttle schedule. If you have your own vehicle, you can drive directly to the Maricopa Point parking area. The drive will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take a shuttle bus from Havasu Falls to Grand Canyon Village. After arriving at Grand Canyon Village, you can catch the Hermit Shuttle, which will take you directly to Maricopa Point. Make sure to purchase a shuttle bus ticket, which usually costs around $15 for a day pass. The total trip might take around 2 to 3 hours depending on the waiting times.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of Maricopa Point and prefer to walk, you can do so from the Hermit Road area near the shuttle bus stop. The walk to Maricopa Point is about 0.5 miles and offers stunning views along the way. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the walk can be strenuous in warm weather.
