Driving

From downtown Phoenix, take theLoop 202 Red Mountain Freeway east to the Galvin Parkway exit. Head north on Galvin Parkway into Papago Park. Follow the signs for the Phoenix Zoo. Limited free parking is available near the Hole-in-the-Rock Trail or on the north side of the Phoenix Zoo parking lot. From there, follow the paved road around the lagoon to the trail leading to Hunt's Tomb. Parking is free, but can be limited.
