From downtown Mesa, head to the nearest bus stop and take Bus Route 30 (Mesa to Fountain Hills). Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at the intersection of McDowell Mountain Park Dr and Fort McDowell Rd. From there, it’s about a 20-minute walk to McDowell Mountain Regional Park. Head north on Fort McDowell Rd, then turn left onto McDowell Mountain Park Dr. Follow the road until you see the park entrance.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Mesa. Start from the Mesa Arts Center and take Main St heading east.
