Public Bus
From downtown Mesa, head to the nearest bus stop and take Bus Route 30 (Mesa to Fountain Hills). Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at the intersection of McDowell Mountain Park Dr and Fort McDowell Rd. From there, it’s about a 20-minute walk to McDowell Mountain Regional Park. Head north on Fort McDowell Rd, then turn left onto McDowell Mountain Park Dr. Follow the road until you see the park entrance.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Mesa. Start from the Mesa Arts Center and take Main St heading east. Then turn north onto Recker Rd and follow it until you reach McDowell Mountain Park Dr. Turn left and continue straight to the park entrance. The bike ride will take approximately 45 minutes.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the Mesa Convention Center. Head east on Main St until you reach Power Rd. Turn right on Power Rd and continue until you reach the intersection with McDowell Mountain Park Dr. Turn left and walk straight to the park entrance. This walk will take about 2.5 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
