If you are in Mesa, you can take the Valley Metro bus route 30 from the Mesa Arts Center. Board the bus at the stop on Main St & Center St heading west. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes, and get off at the Scottsdale & Goldwater stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the Scottsdale Historical Museum. Head south on Goldwater Blvd, then turn left onto E Scottsdale Mall, and the museum will be on your right.
