Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start at the center of Mogollon Rim. Head south on AZ-87 S for about 20 miles. Take the exit toward Payson and merge onto AZ-260 W. Continue on AZ-260 W for approximately 5 miles until you reach Payson. Once in Payson, turn right onto S Green Valley Pkwy. The Rim Country Museum will be on your left at 700 S Green Valley Pkwy, Payson, AZ 85541. There is free parking available at the museum.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, check local bus schedules for routes from Mogollon Rim to Payson. The nearest bus station is located in Payson. Once you arrive in Payson, you will need to walk or take a taxi to reach the museum. Walking from the bus station to Rim Country Museum is about a 15-minute walk. Head east on W Main St, then turn right onto S Green Valley Pkwy. The museum will be on your left at 700 S Green Valley Pkwy.

• Walking from Rim Country Museum to Zane Grey Cabin

  After visiting the Rim Country Museum, you can walk to the Zane Grey Cabin. Exit the museum and head south on S Green Valley Pkwy. Continue for about half a mile until you reach E Main St. Turn left onto E Main St and walk for another 0.7 miles. The Zane Grey Cabin is located at the corner of E Main St and S Gila St. It is advisable to check the opening hours of the Zane Grey Cabin before your visit, as they may differ from the museum.
