Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the Monument Valley Tribal Park Visitor Center. Head north on US-163 for approximately 3 miles. As you reach the intersection with the Monument Valley Scenic Drive, turn left onto the scenic drive. Continue on this road for about 1.5 miles until you reach the parking area for Goulding Arch. There are signs along the way, but be aware that the road may be unpaved in sections. It’s advisable to have a vehicle with good clearance.
Public Transportation
Currently, public transportation options to Goulding Arch are limited. However, you can use a shuttle service that runs from the Monument Valley Visitor Center to various points of interest. Check in advance for schedules and availability. Once you arrive at the nearest stop, you may have to walk approximately 1-2 miles to reach Goulding Arch, so wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Goulding Arch, you can hike from the parking area. Follow the marked trail that leads directly to the Arch. The trail is approximately 0.5 miles and can be rocky in some areas, so proceed with caution. The hike offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape, so take your time and enjoy the scenery.
