Car
If you are driving to Monument Valley Tipi Village, start from the Monument Valley Visitor Center located at 1 Visitor Center Rd, Oljato-Monument Valley, UT 84536. Head south on US-163 S for approximately 3 miles. At the fork, keep left to continue on Monument Valley Rd. After about 1 mile, you will see the Tipi Village on your left at 95 Monument Valley Rd. There is parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
Currently, public transportation options are limited in Monument Valley. However, if you are staying at a local hotel, check if they offer shuttle services to Monument Valley Tipi Village. Alternatively, you may consider hiring a taxi or rideshare service from the Monument Valley Visitor Center, which is approximately 3 miles away. The average fare for such a ride may range from $10 to $20, depending on the service.
Walking
If you are already in the Monument Valley area and prefer to walk, you can head south from the Monument Valley Visitor Center. Follow the same route on foot, heading along US-163 S for about 3 miles, then turn left onto Monument Valley Rd. Continue walking for about 1 mile until you reach the Tipi Village. This walk may take around 1 to 1.5 hours, so be prepared with water and sun protection, as there are no shaded areas on the route.
