To reach Granite Mountain Trailhead from downtown Phoenix, take the Valley Metro Light Rail towards the 19th Avenue/Dunlap station. Get off at the 'Central Ave & Camelback' stop. From there, transfer to bus route 72 heading north. Ride the bus until you reach 'Pinnacle Peak & 136th St' stop. Once you disembark, walk east on Pinnacle Peak Rd for about half a mile until you reach the entrance to Granite Mountain Trailhead.
Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, consider using rideshare services like Uber or Lyft. Open the app and set your destination to 'Granite Mountain Trailhead, 31402 N 136th St, Scottsdale, AZ 85262'. The driver will navigate to the location, and you can expect the ride to take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Biking
For those who enjoy biking, you can rent a bike from various rental shops in Phoenix. Head north on the Arizona Canal Path, which is well marked. Continue on the path until you reach the Scottsdale area. Follow the signs to connect to local bike routes leading to Pinnacle Peak. Walk north on N Pima Rd, then take a left onto E Pinnacle Peak Rd. Continue until you reach 136th St, where you will find the trailhead entrance on your right.
