Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you are starting from downtown Phoenix, head to the nearest Valley Metro bus stop. Take Route 50 (the bus will have a sign indicating the route number). Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. You will pass through various neighborhoods. Get off at the 'Scottsdale Rd & 2nd St' stop. From there, it's a short walk. Head east on E 2nd St for about 5 minutes. The Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art will be on your left at 7374 E 2nd St.

• Light Rail

  Start by walking to the nearest Valley Metro Light Rail station. Board the light rail train heading towards Mesa. Travel for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the 'Sycamore & Main' stop. Transfer to Bus Route 72 at the nearby bus stop. Take the bus for about 20 minutes and get off at 'Scottsdale Rd & 2nd St'. Walk east on E 2nd St for about 5 minutes to reach the museum.

• Bicycle Rental

  For a more active option, consider renting a bicycle. You can find rental stations around downtown Phoenix. Once you have a bike, head east on E Washington St until you reach N Scottsdale Rd. Turn right (south) on Scottsdale Rd and continue for about 2 miles. Turn left onto E 2nd St, and the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art will be on your left at 7374 E 2nd St.

• Walking

  If you are staying in the downtown Scottsdale area, you can simply walk to the museum. Start from the center of downtown Scottsdale, head east on E Main St until you hit N Scottsdale Rd. Turn right (south) and continue for about 0.5 miles. Then turn left onto E 2nd St. The museum will be just a few blocks down on your left at 7374 E 2nd St.
