From most locations within the Scottsdale Arts District, the 'Mother and Child - the Donkeys' sculpture is easily accessible by foot. Simply head towards 7171 E Main St. The sculpture is located on the north side of Main Street, amidst the art galleries and shops.

Valley Metro bus routes serve the Scottsdale Arts District. From the nearest bus stop on Scottsdale Road or Drinkwater Boulevard, walk south towards Main Street. The sculpture will be on your right as you walk west on Main Street. A single ride fare is $2.00.

Free parking is available in public parking garages and lots throughout Old Town Scottsdale. The Civic Center Garage at 3888 N Wells Fargo Ave is a convenient option. From the garage, use the passageway east of the garage and north of the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA) to reach Main Street. The sculpture will be a short walk to the east. Street parking is also available with a three-hour time limit.
