To reach Kennedy Park by car, start by getting on I-10 from your current location in Pima County. If you are in downtown Tucson, head west on West Congress Street toward North Church Avenue, then turn left onto North Church Avenue to access I-10. Continue on I-10 W for approximately 4 miles. Take exit 261 for I-19 S toward Nogales. Merge onto I-19 S and drive for about 5 miles. Take exit 99A toward South 12th Avenue. Merge onto South 12th Avenue and continue for about 1 mile. Turn right onto East Ajo Way (AZ-86) and continue for about 2 miles. Turn left onto South La Cholla Boulevard, and you will find Kennedy Park at 3357 S La Cholla Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85713 on your right. Parking is available in the park; there may be a small fee depending on the event.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take the Sun Tran bus system. Locate the nearest bus stop to your current location. You can use the Sun Tran website or mobile app to find the schedule and route information. Catch Route 6, which travels towards South La Cholla Boulevard. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop near Kennedy Park. The bus stop closest to the park is located on South La Cholla Boulevard. From there, it's a short walk to the park entrance. A single ride on Sun Tran costs $1.75, or you can purchase a day pass for $4, allowing unlimited rides for the day.
