    If you're driving, start on I-10 W from Tucson. Take exit 255 for Ajo Way. Merge onto W Ajo Way and continue for about 8 miles. Turn left onto Kinney Road. After about 3 miles, you'll see the Red Hills Visitor Center on your right at 2700 N Kinney Rd, Tucson, AZ 85743.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach the Red Hills Visitor Center using public transportation, take the Sun Tran bus route 23 from downtown Tucson towards the Ajo Transit Center. Get off at the Ajo Transit Center and transfer to the 21 bus heading towards the Tucson International Airport. Request a stop at Kinney Road. From the bus stop, it's about a 1-mile walk north on Kinney Road to reach the Visitor Center at 2700 N Kinney Rd, Tucson, AZ 85743.
