Bus
From downtown Tucson, head to the nearest Sun Tran bus stop. You can catch Route 3 heading towards the Tucson Mall. Ride for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop at the Tucson Mall. Transfer to Route 16 towards 'Benson Highway.' Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop near the intersection of W. Twin Peaks Rd and N. La Cholla Blvd. From there, you can walk towards the entrance of the Saguaro National Park, where the Valley View Overlook Trail is located.

Biking
If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown Tucson. Begin your journey by heading north on 6th Ave, then take a right on W. Fort Lowell Rd. Continue on Fort Lowell Rd until you reach N. La Cholla Blvd, then head north. After approximately 5 miles, you will reach the entrance of Saguaro National Park. From the entrance, follow the signs to the Valley View Overlook Trail.

If you are starting from a nearby hotel, ask for directions to the nearest bus stop or bike rental shop. Once you have your transportation, follow the steps listed above. If you are close enough, you can walk directly to the Saguaro National Park entrance by heading north from your location towards W. Twin Peaks Rd and N. La Cholla Blvd. Prepare for a longer walk of around 4 miles, and make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
