Step back in time at the Historic Bates Mansion, a vintage wedding and event venue located in the heart of Tucson, Arizona. This enchanting property, with its rustic hacienda-inspired backdrop, provides a unique setting for celebrations of all sizes.Originally built as a private residence, the mansion later became the meeting place for the prestigious Mountain Oyster Club, a local institution since 1948. Today, the mansion has been lovingly renovated by owners David and Allie Lazarus, who were married at the venue. They have redesigned the space with a rustic hacienda look, creating an inviting and cozy atmosphere reminiscent of an old pueblo.The Historic Bates Mansion offers both indoor and uncovered outdoor event spaces. The venue can accommodate up to 250 guests and is perfect for hosting engagement parties, wedding ceremonies, receptions, quinceañeras, bar and bat mitzvahs, anniversaries, and corporate events. The venue boasts stunning views of the Tucson city skyline and the Catalina Mountain Range. Some claim that Mrs. Bates' ghost still roams the property.
