    From your location within Prescott National Forest, head towards the nearest main road. If you are near the Prescott area, take Walker Road or any connecting road that leads to AZ-89. Once on AZ-89, head north for approximately 2 miles. Look for the signs directing you to Watson Lake, and turn onto Watson Lake Road. Follow the road until you reach the parking area at Watson Lake, which will be on your right.

    Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, your first step is to reach the Prescott Transit Center located at 1500 Iron Springs Rd, Prescott, AZ 86305. Once there, take the 'Yavapai County Transit' bus that serves the area. You may need to check the schedule in advance as services can be limited. Ask the driver to let you off at the nearest stop to Watson Lake, which may require you to walk a short distance (approximately 0.5 miles) on Watson Lake Road to reach the lake entrance.

    Bicycle

    For those who prefer cycling, you can bike from the Prescott area by following the paths on Walker Road leading to AZ-89. Once on AZ-89, carefully ride north for about 2 miles.
