Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from anywhere in Prescott National Forest, head south towards the nearest highway, AZ-89. Once you reach AZ-89, turn east. Continue on AZ-89 until you reach the intersection with AZ-69. Turn left onto AZ-69. After about 2 miles, take the exit towards Prescott and continue straight onto Willow Creek Rd. Follow Willow Creek Rd for approximately 2 miles, then turn right onto Heritage Park Rd. The Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary will be on your right at 1403 Heritage Park Rd, Prescott, AZ 86301.

• Public Transportation

  Public transportation options may be limited in Prescott National Forest. If you are near a bus stop, check for the Yavapai Regional Transit services. There may be routes to Prescott, where you can transfer to local transport. Once in Prescott, take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary at 1403 Heritage Park Rd. Expect to pay a fare of approximately $15-$25 depending on your distance from the sanctuary.

• Bicycle

  For those looking to enjoy a bike ride through Prescott National Forest, you can cycle towards Prescott using the same route described for cars. Once you reach AZ-89, follow it to AZ-69, and then head to Willow Creek Rd. The ride is approximately 8 miles and may take about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your speed. Ensure to wear a helmet and stay safe on the roads. Once you arrive at Heritage Park Rd, the zoo will be on your right.
