Once you arrive at the Cottonwood bus station, transfer to a local shuttle service or taxi that can take you to Dead Horse Ranch State Park, located at 675 Dead Horse Ranch Rd.

If you enjoy cycling, rent a bike in Prescott. Start at the Prescott Downtown area and head south on Montezuma St. Continue on this road until you reach AZ-89A. Follow AZ-89A south towards Cottonwood. The journey is approximately 25 miles and will take you through beautiful scenery. Upon reaching Cottonwood, look for signs directing you to Dead Horse Ranch State Park, which is located off Dead Horse Ranch Rd.
