Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Prescott, head west on Gurley Street toward Montezuma Street. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Willow Creek Road. Turn left onto Willow Creek Road and walk for about 1 mile. You will pass some local shops and eateries. After reaching the intersection with AZ-89A, turn right. Follow AZ-89A for approximately 6 miles. You will begin to see signs for Jerome. Continue on AZ-89A until you reach Jerome. Once in Jerome, follow the signs for Douglas Road. The Jerome State Historic Park will be on your left at 100 Douglas Rd.

    Start at the Prescott Courthouse Plaza and head south on Montezuma Street. After about 0.3 miles, turn right onto Gurley Street and continue straight for another 0.5 miles. You will reach Willow Creek Road. Turn left and bike for about 1 mile. Next, turn right onto AZ-89A and bike along this scenic route for about 6 miles. Pay attention to the signs for Jerome and turn left when you see Douglas Road. The park entrance will be on your left at 100 Douglas Rd.

  • Public Transport

    From the Prescott Courthouse Plaza, walk to the nearest bus stop on Montezuma Street. Take the Yavapai County Transit bus heading towards Cottonwood. This bus will connect you to a service that stops in Jerome. Get off at the Jerome stop and walk about 0.5 miles toward Douglas Road.
