Walking
If you are starting from the Prescott Courthouse Plaza, head northeast on W Gurley St toward N Cortez St. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with N Montezuma St. Turn left onto N Montezuma St and continue for about 0.5 miles. You will come to the junction with Iron Springs Rd. At this point, you can catch the public transit bus (Yavapai County Transit) if you want to save some energy, heading towards the Peavine Trail. If you choose to continue walking, follow Iron Springs Rd for about 1 mile until you reach the Prescott Peavine Trailhead. Look for the trailhead signs on your left. Follow the Peavine Trail north, and in about 0.5 miles, you will find the Boulder Creek Trail branching off to your right.

From the Prescott Courthouse Plaza, walk to the nearest Yavapai County Transit bus stop located at the corner of W Gurley St and N Cortez St. Board the bus that heads toward the Iron Springs Rd area. Ask the bus driver to let you off at the closest stop to Peavine Trailhead. Once you disembark, walk a short distance along Iron Springs Rd until you see the Peavine Trailhead on your left. Follow the Peavine Trail north for about 0.5 miles, and you will find Boulder Creek Trail on your right.
