    From downtown Prescott, head north on AZ-89 for approximately 6 miles. The Constellation Trails Parking area will be on your left. Look for the sign and take the roundabout to the parking lot. Parking fee is $3.

    Take the Prescott Transit bus from the downtown area towards the Prescott Valley route. Ask the driver to stop at the closest stop to AZ-89. Walk north along AZ-89 for about 0.2 miles to Constellation Trails Parking at 4700 AZ-89. Bus fare is approximately $2.

The Constellation Trails are named in honor of the crew of a United States Air Force Lockheed C-121G Super Constellation that crashed at the site on February 28, 1959. Today, the area offers a network of interconnected trails, including the main Constellation Loop, which spans approximately 2.6 miles. These trails wind through colossal granite rocks and boulders, offering a distinct and sometimes challenging hiking experience. The trails cater to both hikers and mountain bikers, with surfaces ranging from packed earth to slick rock.
