    If you are in downtown Prescott, head west on Gurley Street. The Burmister Building is located at 120 W Gurley Street, about a 0.5-mile walk from the Courthouse Plaza. The building will be on your right.

Located in the heart of Prescott's historic downtown, The Burmister Building stands as a vibrant shopping destination with a rich history. Originally part of the Bashford-Burmister Company, one of the largest mercantile stores in northern Arizona, the building has been a commercial focal point for over a century. The Bashford-Burmister Company sold everything from mining supplies to fresh vegetables. The original structure was constructed in 1900, after a fire destroyed the previous building. It was built of cast iron steel and three courses of red brick from the Prescott red brick plant. The building was renovated in an Art Deco style in 1929. Today, The Burmister Building offers a diverse array of boutique shops featuring handmade crafts, local art, and specialty products that reflect the spirit of the region. Visitors can find everything from handcrafted jewelry and home décor to gourmet food products and vintage collectibles. The building also features food and beverage venues.
