    Getting There

    Public Transit

    From Scottsdale, head to the nearest Valley Metro bus stop. You can take the Route 72 bus heading towards Phoenix. Stay on the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes until you reach the 'Central Ave & Washington St' stop in Downtown Phoenix. From there, it's just a short walk to explore the area.

    Biking

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from any of the local rental shops in Scottsdale. Head west on the Arizona Canal Path, then connect to the Pima Road and follow it south until you reach the intersection with East McDowell Road. Continue on McDowell for several miles until you hit Downtown Phoenix. Once you arrive, park your bike at one of the bike racks available in the area.

    Walking

    If you are near the Scottsdale Waterfront, you can walk to Downtown Phoenix by heading south on Scottsdale Rd. After about 1.5 miles, turn left onto East Thomas Rd and continue walking until you reach Central Ave. Turn right, and you'll soon enter Downtown Phoenix. It’s about a 5-mile walk, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated!
