Getting There

• Walking

  Start from the center of Sedona, at the intersection of State Route 89A and State Route 179. Head south on State Route 179 for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance of the Red Rock Crossing area. Continue walking through the Red Rock Crossing area, following the signs that lead to the Oak Creek pathway. You will walk along the creek, enjoying beautiful views of the red rocks around you. Keep walking until you reach a point where the path bifurcates. Take the left path that leads directly to Buddha Beach. As you approach, you will see the beach area along Oak Creek, which is known for its tranquility and scenic beauty.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, start at the Sedona Community Center. From there, head east on Posse Ground Road until you reach State Route 89A. Take a right and continue on 89A until you can take a left on State Route 179. Continue on 179 for about 1.5 miles. You will find bike paths along the way that lead to Red Rock Crossing. Follow the bike path signs to reach the Oak Creek area, where Buddha Beach is located. Make sure to lock up your bike at the bike racks provided near the beach entrance.

• Public Transport (Shuttle Service)

  Look for the Sedona Shuttle service, which operates regularly from various points in Sedona. Board the shuttle that goes to the Red Rock Crossing area. The shuttle will drop you off at a designated stop near the entrance. From there, follow the walking path toward Oak Creek. The beach area, known as Buddha Beach, will be visible as you approach the creek. Ensure to check the shuttle schedule in advance to plan your return trip.
