Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the center of Sedona, head south on State Route 89A towards the intersection with AZ-179. Continue straight for about 5.5 miles until you reach the junction with I-17. Turn right onto I-17 South and walk towards Camp Verde. After approximately 15 miles, take exit 287 for AZ-260 towards Cottonwood. Continue on AZ-260 for about 4 miles, then turn left onto Main Street. The Camp Verde Visitor Center will be located on your right at 435 S Main St.

    From Sedona, you can take the Verde Lynx bus service. Head to the nearest Verde Lynx bus stop and catch the bus heading to Camp Verde. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the Camp Verde stop near Main St. From there, walk south on Main St for about 0.3 miles, and the Camp Verde Visitor Center will be on your right at 435 S Main St.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local shop in Sedona. Start by heading south on State Route 89A, then take the scenic route along the Oak Creek Canyon. After approximately 5 miles, merge onto I-17 South. Continue for about 15 miles until you reach the exit for AZ-260.
